Together, we build shared practice, learning, funding, systems, and joint advocacy — strengthening community-led systems of care, so children and young people can thrive.
Why this exists
Not another organization above the field.
Child Impact Hub is not a new institution sitting above local organizations. It is the shared ground that lets independent organizations working with children and families move together — without losing what makes each of them locally rooted.
We call this murmuration: many independent actors, moving in a shared direction, without one of them leading the rest.
How we work together
Six commitments, held in full.
- Those closest lead. Children, families, and local organizations hold leadership. Everyone else is there to support that work, not to direct it.
- Radical equality. Decision-making power flows from proximity to the work, not from the size of a funding contribution.
- Safeguarding, no exceptions. Protecting children is the foundation of everything we do — not one value to weigh against others.
- Radical learning. Evidence moves through the community as shared learning. Honest failure carries no penalty; hiding it does.
- Proximity over distance. Language, governance, and resources move closer to families, not further away.
- Principles over rules. We hold each other to a way of working, not to a rulebook that cannot flex to local reality.

What membership stands for
A shared foundation, held by every member.
Every member organization commits to the same foundation, regardless of size, location, or funding.
- Child rights come first. The UN Convention on the Rights of the Child guides every decision, at every level.
- Safeguarding, without exception. A joint safeguarding protocol, with zero tolerance for inaction.
- Open by default. Independently audited financial statements. Governing documents available on request.
- Full independence. Every member stays legally, strategically, and financially independent. Membership creates no employment or agency relationship.
Our work is grounded in the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, the UN Guidelines for the Alternative Care of Children, and the UN Sustainable Development Goals — alongside the child protection and data standards each member is bound by in its own country.
